About TheBetterMarch (TBM)

TBM Examines ideas broadly related to economics, including finance, investing, and numerous other topics. Economics touches almost every aspect of our lives, yet because there is so much inaccurate information, it is poorly understood by many.
TBM provides a rational perspective in the irrational world of economics. Our content will guide you through a variety of topics, ideas, and insights in breadth and in depth. Through thoughtful analysis and first principle thinking, we separate fact from fiction and distinguish signals from noise, to ultimately help you thrive in our economic system.

About Roy Deng

I started this blog to share my thoughts on finance and economics, topics that I think a lot about.

Growing up in Canada as immigrants, my parents were frugal and worked minimum wage jobs. Although I never starved, money was a constraint. This drove my interest in economics, finance, and investing, led me to study business in school, and gave me perspective on the importance of our economic system. Increasingly, I found that although economics shapes all of our lives, a lot of people don’t understand it the way I do. And so I hope that TBM will be useful and insightful, and that the public will stress test my thoughts, challenge my views, and add to my ideas to make TBM better.
